Dartmouth to Dartmouth - The Devon Epic! Sailing Holiday 21st to 27th June 2026. Join Dream Odyssey for a relaxed yet rewarding sailing holiday along the stunning south-west coast of England. This round-trip Dartmouth to Dartmouth - The Devon Epic starts and finishes in the charming seaside town of Dartmouth, Devon, making travel straightforward and stress-free. This holiday is ideal for those with sailing experience who want to refresh their skipper skills, enjoy great coastal cruising, or simply unwind in good company. It’s also perfect for beginners—no prior experience is required, and you’ll complete your RYA Competent Crew qualification as part of the week. You’ll join at 6pm on Sunday 21st June 2026 in Dartmouth and disembark at 10am on Saturday 27th June 2026, also in Dartmouth. We’ll explore a series of beautiful coastal destinations depending on weather and conditions. Likely ports of call can include Brixham, Salcombe, the River Yealm, and Fowey, with plenty of opportunities for scenic anchorages and memorable sailing. Every trip is shaped by tide, wind and the crew—so no two are ever quite the same. Transport: Dartmouth is easy to reach by car or by train. From Totnes Railway Station, the number 92 bus (£4) takes you directly to Dartmouth town centre, just a 5 minute walk from our berth. What’s included? - The yacht and your qualified instructor - All marina fees, fuel, and gas - Use of lifejackets, jackets, and salopettes - Accommodation onboard - Breakfasts, all lunches, snacks, tea/coffee - Evening meals onboard for 4 nights - Two evening meals ashore (at own expense—crew chooses when and where) Booking & Payment: Reserve your place now - deposit of £225. A further £225 is due January 2026, with the remaining balance payable 9 weeks before departure. Terms and Conditions
Clients are strongly advised to take out holiday insurance that covers sailing. Sportscoverdirect.com and others offer this at very inexpensive prices (circa £12). Asking to delay or postpone your course is the same as cancelling your booking. Refunds to the Client of any money paid to Academy Sailing for a Booking are made in accordance with the following periods of notice given by the Client of the Cancellation:- * MORE than 8 weeks – full refund of the Programme fee paid LESS the non-refundable deposit amount shown against the service and LESS any card processing fees and bank fees. * 8 weeks or less, but MORE than 4 weeks – 50% of the Programme fee, LESS any card processing and bank fees. Where the Client has not made full payment, the balance between the deposit and 50% of the Programme fee must be paid to Academy Sailing before the cancellation becomes valid. * 4 weeks and less – no refund of the Programme fee. Where the Client has not made full payment, the balance between the deposit and the full programme fee remain owed by the Client to Academy Sailing.
