The £25 forms part of the usual £300 deposit, leaving £275 payable in November 2026. A further £300 is due 19 weeks before departure, with the remaining balance payable 10 weeks before departure.

By popular demand we’re delighted our stunning English south coast 'Riviera' sailing adventure holidays are back for summer 2027.
Our four very special six-night south coast sailing adventures return in 2027. Each adventure costs £1,250 and places are strictly limited.
Whether you are a complete beginner, looking to build miles and experience, working towards an RYA qualification or simply seeking a memorable sailing holiday, there is an adventure for you.
For a limited period, you can secure your place for just £25, with nothing further to pay until November 2026.


As part of this unforgettable 6-night holiday, you’ll sail Dream Odyssey under the expert guidance of one of our award-winning RYA Yachtmaster Instructors. You’ll cruise to stunning destinations and experience the beauty of the English coast as it’s meant to be seen - from the sea.
These holidays are a fun and rewarding way to build miles, boost confidence, and gain real hands-on experience. You’ll be fully involved in daily passage-making - plotting routes, navigating, and taking the helm - all while learning valuable seamanship skills as part of your holiday experience.
New crew join the boat at 5pm on Saturday evening, and disembark the following Friday around 4pm.
All expected start and finish ports are listed below and offer excellent rail connections, making them easy and convenient to reach.


Included in the price are all breakfasts, lunches, snacks, tea and coffee, as well as four evening meals. On the remaining two evenings, the crew enjoys dining ashore together (meals ashore are at your own expense).
With so many fantastic overnight stops, the crew decides where and when to eat out, making each evening a relaxed and sociable part of the holiday experience.

Leg 1; Saturday 12th June 2027
Burnham-on-Crouch to Lymington - White Cliffs, Estuaries & 170 Sea Miles
Leg 1; 5pm Saturday 12th to 4pm Friday 18th June 2027

This challenging Head South leg is perfect for those undertaking the RYA Coastal Skipper course, or for experienced sailors looking to stretch themselves and advance their skills over longer and tougher passages. The journey begins in the charming east coast sailing town of Burnham-on-Crouch, known for its traditional maritime feel. From there, you’ll sail south and west toward the Solent, taking in spectacular coastal scenery and iconic navigational challenges.
You’ll experience the thrill of navigating the outer reaches of the River Thames, before rounding North Foreland and making an overnight stop at either Ramsgate or Dover. As we continue west, you’ll sail past the majestic white cliffs of Dover and Beachy Head, with a stop in Eastbourne, before heading onward through the busy waters off Brighton and Newhaven, en route to the famous Solent.
The Solent offers a world-class sailing playground, set against the stunning backdrop of the Isle of Wight. During this leg, you’ll enjoy an overnight stay in the famous sailing town of Cowes, known for its vibrant maritime atmosphere. The journey concludes at the charming and quaint south coast gem of Lymington Town Harbour, Hampshire.


Transport: Burnham Yacht Harbour is just a few minutes from Burnham-on-Crouch Railway Station, with direct links to London. Lymington Town Harbour is also only a 5 minute walk or 2 minute taxi ride from Lymington Town Railway Station.
The Jurassic Coast Classic!
Leg 2; Saturday 19th June 2027
Lymington to Dartmouth
Leg 2; 5pm Saturday 19th to 4pm Friday 25th June 2027
This Jurassic Coast Classic leg begins in Lymington, nestled in the heart of the Solent, one of the most iconic sailing regions in the world.
From here, we head west along Dorset’s spectacular Jurassic coastline, rich in natural beauty and sailing heritage. Highlights include a potential stop at Lulworth Cove, where you’ll have the chance to go ashore by RHIB for a well-earned ice cream.

Next, we sail into the historic harbour town of Weymouth, known for its welcoming atmosphere, great pubs, and some of the best fish and chips on the south coast.
We then make the rewarding passage across Lyme Bay, passing by Torquay and Brixham, before reaching our final destination - Dartmouth, a stunning riverside town in South Devon, steeped in maritime history.
Fingers crossed for Dolphins joining us. Great fish and chips and some very nice pubs to be enjoyed.
Transport: The start point at Lymington is just a short walk from Lymington Town Railway Station, with excellent rail links. The end destination of Dartmouth in an easy direct bus ride (number 92) to Totnes Railway Station for your journey home.




The Jurassic Solent Classic
Leg 3; Saturday 11th September 2027

Next, we continue to the welcoming harbour town of Weymouth, famous for its relaxed atmosphere, excellent pubs, and some of the finest fish and chips on the south coast.
We then follow the dramatic Jurassic Coast eastwards, with the chance to drop anchor at Lulworth Cove. Weather permitting, you can head ashore by RHIB for a wander - and a well-earned ice cream.
After leaving Lulworth, we may stop at Swanage, a classic seaside town with a sandy beach, Victorian pier and great views back along the coast.


From Swanage, we pass the golden sands of Studland Bay before entering the legendary Solent, one of the most iconic sailing regions in the world.
Your journey ends at Hamble, the beating heart of Solent sailing and the perfect place to round off an unforgettable coastal adventure.
Transport: Dartmouth is easily reached via the number 92 bus from Totnes Railway Station (approx. £4). The end destination at Lymington, is just a 2-minute taxi ride to Lymington Town Railway Station, with excellent onward connections.


Dartmouth to Lymington (Solent)
Leg 3; 5pm Saturday 11th to 4pm Friday 17th September 2027
This return Jurassic Coast Classic begins in Dartmouth, the stunningly beautiful riverside town in South Devon with deep maritime roots and one of the most characterful harbours on the south coast.
From here, we head east across Lyme Bay, passing Brixham and Torquay on our way towards Dorset. With a bit of luck, dolphins may join us along the way - always a highlight of this leg.
South to East Coast Adventure
Leg 4; Saturday 18th September 2027
Lymington to Burnham-on-Crouch - Stunning White Cliffs, Estuaries & 170 Sea Miles
Leg 4; 5pm Saturday 18th to 4pm Friday 24th September 2027
This final leg is designed for those taking on the RYA Coastal Skipper course, or for experienced sailors who want to push themselves with a more challenging and rewarding passage.
With over 170 nautical miles of varied coastline, this leg with long passages is a fantastic opportunity to build confidence, capability, and sea miles. If choosing to undertake the RYA Coastal Skipper course, please see pre-course requirements on this page.

You’ll join Dream Odyssey at the marina in Lymington in the Solent at 5pm on Saturday 18th September 2027, where you’ll begin planning your passage and enjoy a relaxed evening meal with the crew. We set sail on Monday morning, with a route that promises both scenic beauty and navigational complexity.
Potential overnight stops include:

Eastbourne (sailing beneath the dramatic Beachy Head)

Dover, with views of the iconic White Cliffs and Seven Sisters
-
Ramsgate, before tackling the shallow sands and shifting routes of the outer Thames Estuary

Transport: The start point in Lymington is just a 5-minute taxi ride from Lymington Town Railway Station, offering convenient access via the national rail network. The end destination, Burnham Yacht Harbour, is also less than 5 minutes by taxi from Burnham-on-Crouch Railway Station. Both stations provide excellent connections back to London and other major routes.
