Not just a course but a south coast cruise too! When you book you will be asked to select either the Competent Crew or Day Skipper course. You can also just come along for the sailing! For this holiday you join Dream Odyssey at 6pm on Sunday 14th June 2026 at Lymington*, and disembark at Dartmouth*, Devon at 10am on Saturday 20th June 2026. This leg then works its way west through Dorset's Jurassic coastline, typically stopping at the beautiful Studland Bay or Swanage, then around Old Harry's Rock and past Lulworth Cove to the quaint and historic Dorset harbour town of Weymouth with superb pubs and fish & chips. Then heading west across Lyme Bay towards Brixham with the final destination being Dartmouth* in Devon. Fingers crossed for Dolphins joining us. Great fish and chips and some very nice pubs to be enjoyed. Transport: The start location of Lymington Town Harbour is less than 10 minutes on foot or less than 5 minutes by taxi from the railway station. The end destination of Dart Marina at Dartmouth in Devon is a very easy bus ride (number 92 costing £4) from where we berth straight to Totnes Railway Station for your journey home. Both stations have excellent route links. Your fee covers the boat, your Yachtmaster Instructor, marina costs along the way, boat fuel, gas, use of jackets, salopettes, lifejackets, accommodation, breakfast, all lunches, snacks, tea/coffee, and evening meals on 4 evenings. The crew eat on shore together for two evenings (at own expense) with the crew choosing which evenings they want to do this and where - there are many nice places to choose from! We look forward to welcoming you aboard Dream Odyssey. Notes: Reserve a place now - first deposit not collected until September / October 2025 when we ask you to confirm your booking. A further payment of £225 is payable on 1st January 2026, and the remaining balance is payable 9 weeks prior to the holiday start date. We advise all customers to take-out holiday insurance (cost around £12) to protect against you needing to cancel your sailing holiday / course. *Please don't book train tickets until much nearer the time in unlikely event we need to modify start and finish locations due to weather. We will confirm in the days prior.
