This limited offer gives you the chance to join Dream Odyssey as she sails the stunning UK south coast ‘Riviera’—a truly memorable sailing holiday. Perfect for milebuilding if you have some experience, but no experience is required. If you don’t already have it, you’ll gain your RYA Competent Crew qualification during the trip. Join us at 6pm on Sunday 14th June 2026 in Lymington and disembark at 10am on Saturday 20th June 2026 in Dartmouth, Devon. We’ll head west through Dorset’s Jurassic coastline, stopping at beautiful locations with choices including Swanage, Lulworth Cove, Weymouth, Salcombe—and of course, Dartmouth. With luck, we may even be joined by dolphins. Getting there and back is easy: - Lymington is under 10 minutes’ walk or 5 minutes by taxi from the railway station. - From Dartmouth, the number 92 bus (£4) takes you straight to Totnes Railway Station for your onward journey. Both Totnes and Lymington have excellent rail connections. What’s included? - Yacht, Yachtmaster Instructor, marina fees, fuel, gas - Lifejackets, jackets, salopettes, and accommodation - Breakfasts, all lunches, snacks, tea/coffee - Evening meals onboard for 4 nights - Shore evening meals on 2 nights (at own cost—venue chosen by the crew) We look forward to welcoming you aboard Dream Odyssey for an unforgettable adventure. Payment & Insurance: Reserve your place now—no deposit taken until Sept/Oct 2025 when we confirm bookings. A further £225 is payable by 1st Jan 2026, with the remaining balance due 9 weeks before departure. We strongly recommend taking out sailing holiday insurance (around £12) in case you need to cancel. ** Please don’t book train tickets too early—we’ll confirm final start/finish ports nearer the time in case of weather-related changes.
Terms and Conditions
Clients are strongly advised to take out holiday insurance that covers sailing. Sportscoverdirect.com and others offer this at very inexpensive prices (circa £12). Asking to delay or postpone your course is the same as cancelling your booking. Refunds to the Client of any money paid to Academy Sailing for a Booking are made in accordance with the following periods of notice given by the Client of the Cancellation:- * MORE than 8 weeks – full refund of the Programme fee paid LESS the non-refundable deposit amount shown against the service and LESS any card processing fees and bank fees. * 8 weeks or less, but MORE than 4 weeks – 50% of the Programme fee, LESS any card processing and bank fees. Where the Client has not made full payment, the balance between the deposit and 50% of the Programme fee must be paid to Academy Sailing before the cancellation becomes valid. * 4 weeks and less – no refund of the Programme fee. Where the Client has not made full payment, the balance between the deposit and the full programme fee remain owed by the Client to Academy Sailing.
