Following the success of our 2024 and 2025 adventures, we’re delighted to offer another round of unforgettable sailing holidays in 2026. This Passage South: Coast Adventure leg is ideal if you are either looking to complete your RYA Coastal Skipper qualification, work towards it, or simply want to build longer passage experience with a real sense of achievement. You’ll join Dream Odyssey at 4pm on Sunday 7th June 2026 at Burnham-on-Crouch, Essex, where your passage planning begins for an exciting and varied coastal journey. Over the course of the week, you’ll sail east along England’s iconic South-East and South coastlines, before disembarking in Lymington on the morning of Saturday 13th June 2026. This route offers a iconic coastal scenery and rewarding challenges: - Depart Burnham-on-Crouch, heading out into the Thames Estuary - Navigate around North Foreland, entering the English Channel - Sail beneath the iconic White Cliffs of Dover, with the option to overnight in Dover or Ramsgate - Pass Eastbourne, with the dramatic Beachy Head towering above - Continue along the south coast, passing Brighton and Newhaven - Complete your journey in the legendary Solent, sailing past the Isle of Wight Transport: - Burnham Yacht Harbour is under 5 minutes by taxi from Burnham-on-Crouch Station. - Hamble Point Marina is a 5-minute taxi ride from Hamble Railway Station. What’s included? - Yacht, Yachtmaster Instructor, marina fees, fuel, gas - Lifejackets, jackets, salopettes, and accommodation - Breakfasts, all lunches, snacks, tea/coffee - Evening meals onboard for 4 nights - Two evening meals ashore (at your own expense—crew chooses the venues) Booking & Payment: Booking & Payment: Reserve your place now – £225 deposit. Second £225 payment due 1st January 2026. Balance: payable 9 weeks before departure. Terms and Conditions
Clients are strongly advised to take out holiday insurance that covers sailing. Sportscoverdirect.com and others offer this at very inexpensive prices (circa £12). Asking to delay or postpone your course is the same as cancelling your booking. Refunds to the Client of any money paid to Academy Sailing for a Booking are made in accordance with the following periods of notice given by the Client of the Cancellation:- * MORE than 8 weeks – full refund of the Programme fee paid LESS the non-refundable deposit amount shown against the service and LESS any card processing fees and bank fees. * 8 weeks or less, but MORE than 4 weeks – 50% of the Programme fee, LESS any card processing and bank fees. Where the Client has not made full payment, the balance between the deposit and 50% of the Programme fee must be paid to Academy Sailing before the cancellation becomes valid. * 4 weeks and less – no refund of the Programme fee. Where the Client has not made full payment, the balance between the deposit and the full programme fee remain owed by the Client to Academy Sailing.
