Description

Devon to Solent Adventure – Sailing Holiday 2nd to 8th August 2026. Join Dream Odyssey for a spectacular sailing holiday from Dartmouth, Devon, to Lymington, Hampshire, taking in some of the south coast’s most iconic and beautiful sailing destinations. This holiday is perfect for those with sailing experience who want to refresh their skipper skills, log sea miles, or simply enjoy a unique and sociable sailing break. It’s also ideal for complete beginners—no previous experience is needed, and you’ll gain your RYA Competent Crew qualification as part of the trip. You’ll join at 6pm on Sunday 2nd August 2026 in Dartmouth and disembark at 10am on Saturday 8th August 2026 in Lymington. We typically visit some of the most scenic and popular sailing locations on the south coast, including Weymouth, Swanage or Studland Bay, Yarmouth and Cowes on the Isle of Wight, before finishing in Lymington. Routes may vary slightly depending on weather and tide, but each stop offers fantastic sailing and local charm. Transport: - Dartmouth is easily reached via Totnes Railway Station, then the number 92 bus (£2) brings you directly to our berth. - Lymington has a railway station right by the marina for an easy journey home. What’s included? - The yacht and your qualified instructor - All marina fees, fuel, and gas - Use of lifejackets, jackets, and salopettes - Accommodation onboard - Breakfasts, all lunches, snacks, tea/coffee - Evening meals onboard for 4 nights - Two evening meals ashore (at your own expense—crew chooses when and where) Booking & Payment: Reserve your place now—no deposit taken until Sept/Oct 2025, when we ask you to confirm. A further £225 is due 1st January 2026, with the remaining balance payable 9 weeks before departure. Notes: Your booking is processed within 24 hours and you’ll receive an invoice for the non-refundable deposit. Once paid, your place is confirmed and full joining instructions will follow. We strongly recommend inexpensive holiday insurance (approx. £10) to protect against cancellation. Please wait until nearer the time to book rail travel, in case weather requires a slight change to start or finish ports. We’ll confirm details in the days before departure. We look forward to welcoming you aboard Dream Odyssey for this unforgettable journey along England’s stunning south coast.
